Have you ever been given a handout in a meeting or a seminar and had to retype the information? Did you know that you can import data with your camera? The Excel mobile app lets you scan a document and turn it into a spreadsheet. Any data in tabular format can be scanned and imported into Excel. The data is placed in rows and columns and its ready to use. In my experience, no corrections were required. The app highlighted several cells for me to review and allowed me to approve or edit them before generating the entire sheet. I think it was because I took the snapshot from a slight angle. You can add formulas, format and print the sheet. It can be saved to your personal cloud and opened from your desktop computer. It’s a game changer for anyone who works with numbers.
