Intacct is one of the most exciting cloud software suites. It is advanced financial management suite for even the most complex business models. I have sold and deployed much desktop accounting software. It has not kept pace with cloud apps. Web applications and software adapt to our screen size, connection speed and more. Selection lists are quicker for those of us who suck at typing. I don’t like having to move my hand from the mouse to the keyboard. It slows things down.

Intacct was founded in 1999 as the first cloud accounting company to offer a suite of consolidated ERP, and e-commerce applications for medium and large-sized businesses. Intacct continues to be enhanced quarterly since joining the Sage PLC Group. Customers play a key role in which enhancements receive priority.

Intacct offers functionality for many different business scenarios. The intuitive report writer makes it easy to produce expert reports in no time at all. To aid in reporting transactions may be “tagged” with dimensions. The advantage is that the chart of accounts remains the same no matter how many dimensions are used. That is huge.
